Run the World, Episode 4: Forest Park and Washington Park, Portland Oregon

In Run the World series, RunGo's team of run-loving employees will take you on a tour of their favourite runs around the world. Each run will feature a different region, with tons of photos to get you motivated and a link to RunGo's route, so you can follow the run with voice navigation. Distance:

 The park offers over 70 miles (110 km) of trails, and covers over 5000 acres of forest, so you have to option to run for a much longer distance!

Why you’ll love it:

Forest Park is one of the largest urban forest reserves in the U.S. If you love trail running and are in Portland, OR, this is the place for you. Just south of Forest Park, in Washington park are some of the city’s must-see sights, including the historical Pittock Mansion, the Portland Japanese Garden, and the International Rose Test Garden, so this is also an ideal destination for both tourists and locals.
